A published author since 1993, Cheryl Saban writes from the heart, and very often, from personal experience. Her essays and articles have appeared in LA Family Magazine, The Jerusalem Post, Aspen Peak Magazine, and The Huffington Post.
Dr. Saban’s latest book, New Mother’s Survival Guide (2008) provides a treasure trove of valuable information for new moms. Recipe for Good Parenting (2007) offers witty wisdom and beneficial advice to parents, and Recipe for a Good Marriage (2005) delivers lighthearted tips for a happier marriage.
50 Ways to Save Our Children evolved out of Cheryl’s community service and social-minded endeavors. Her interest in children and their welfare inspired her to continue her education; she earned a Ph.D. in Psychology in 2005. Cheryl is a vocal and active advocate for children, and this book was created to help other individuals find a way to channel their own philanthropic efforts, and to become involved with their communities.
Other works include Sins of the Mother (1997), Griffin’s Play Date series (1995), and Miracle Child—Genetic Mother, Surrogate Womb (1993). In addition to her books, Saban writes essays and articles. She’s a recurrent blogger for Huffington Post, and a new blogger for Intent.com. Dr. Saban’s work has also appeared in Divine Caroline.com, The Jerusalem Post, Aspen Peak Magazine, and LA Family Magazine.
